Short version
- We use your email only to sign you in.
- We set one cookie, and only when you sign in.
- We save your light or dark theme choice in your browser.
- We run no analytics yet and no advertising.
What we store
Your email address. When you ask for a sign-in link, we use the address to send the link and to make your account. The account holds your email, your plan, the date it was made, and the searches you save (members only). We do not ask for a password. We do not sell your email or share it for marketing.
Sign-in links. Each link works one time for 15 minutes.
Server logs. The service keeps technical logs: time, page address without the search text, result code, and your network address. The logs hold no emails, tokens or cookies. We use them to keep the service safe and working, and to stop abuse.
Cookies and browser storage
- Session cookie (
pi_session). Set when you sign in. It keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Your browser sends it with each request, and page scripts cannot read it. Sign out to remove it. - Theme preference (
pi-theme, in local storage). It remembers light, dark or system. It stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
Calculator inputs stay in your browser and in the link you copy. We do not receive them.
Analytics
There are no analytics tools on the site today. If we add them, we will update this page first.
