Office: central versus fringe, vacancies, rentals and supply
How have office prices, rents, vacancy and supply moved in the Central and Fringe areas?
Looks at offices in the URA's two zones, the Central Area and the Fringe Area, and at office rents, vacancy and supply. In 2012 Q2 Central prices stood 10.2% above Fringe, then the gap closed and the Fringe index passed Central in 2021 Q4. Rents did better than prices, and a vacancy rate near 11% did not stop them rising.
